Last night we had filet mignon and baked potatoes with a bottle that we had gotten at our housewarming party. A N.V. Prosperity Wines Cabernet Sauvignon "Prosperity Red". As far as I know this is a inexpensive bottle, probably right around or under $10. It definitely wasn't a bad wine at all. Tasted like a grocery store wine though, just not much going on with at all (good or bad).
After we finished that I felt like one more glass of something so we opened a bottle of 2006 Michele Chiarlo Moscato d'Asti "Nivole". Love this stuff. Not super sweet, but great fruit flavors (orange, citrus) that are accentuated by the bubbles.
For the record the food was delicious :)
